St Bonaventure Indian Mission and School

Saint Bonaventure Indian School serves 160 students, primarily from the Navajo Nation. It is part of the Saint Bonaventure Mission, whose mission is to offer the people of the Eastern Navajo Nation opportunities to achieve self-sufficiency through education, employment, housing, and outreach services. These services include providing food, water, clothing, and other essential social services.
The school honors Navajo culture by hosting Navajo authors, teaching the Navajo language, and displaying Navajo art across the campus. While it serves students from Pre-K through grade 8, the school also supports those wishing to pursue private high school education by offering scholarships.
